Let us tell you a secret…about construction

Here's a little secret about construction…

For a long time, it doesn't look anything like the renders.

There are weeks of framing, steel and temporary props, then cables poking out of walls, bubble-wrapped benchtops and floors covered in protective sheets. It can be hard to imagine that the space you've dreamed about is hiding in there somewhere. Trust us, it is.

Between the first site visit and the final reveal, there's a whole lot of craft, coordination and careful timing. Trades need to arrive in the right order. Materials have to land on the right day. And every now and then, something behind a wall decides to keep things interesting.

That's where construction management comes in. Over the next few posts, we're taking you behind the scenes of our process. You'll see how we bring the trades together, keep the schedule humming, and handle the curveballs. Most importantly, you'll see how all those hard-won details finally come together into a home you'll love.

The messy middle is part of the magic.
